How accurate is radar sleep tracking?
The sensor estimates sleep stages from breathing, heart rate and movement, the same signals wearables use, but without contact. It is designed for following your trends night to night against your own baseline. It is not a clinical sleep study and should not be used as one.
Does it work if I share the bed with a partner or a pet?
Point the sensor at your side and set the detection range in the app (0.3 to 2 m). It tracks the nearest person in range. A pet on the bed can add movement; the report marks those periods. Two people who both want reports need one sensor each.
Can the sensor see or hear me?
No. There is no camera and no microphone in the device. Radar returns are processed on the sensor itself, and only derived values such as sleep stages, breathing rate and bed exits are uploaded to your account.
Is Somnaris a medical device?
No. Somnaris is a general wellness product for tracking sleep trends and building sleep habits. It does not diagnose, treat or screen for any condition. If your numbers stay outside your usual range or you are worried about your sleep, talk with a healthcare professional.
What do I lose if I stop paying for the plan?
Only the plan: the nightly sleep window, weekly adjustments and guided audio. The sensor keeps recording, and the morning report, trends, baseline and CSV export stay free.
Which phones and platforms are supported?
The Somnaris app runs on iOS and Android, and your reports are also available in a web dashboard. The sensor needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and stores up to 14 nights if the connection drops.
How do I export or delete my data?
In the app, open Export to download every night as CSV. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems within 30 days. You can also email us to request either.
What about shipping, returns and warranty?
We ship within the United States. You can return the sensor within 30 days, and it carries a 1-year limited warranty against defects. See the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy for the full terms.
